This year saw the release of an Aliens adaptation deserving of the term, even though it had taken the better part of forty years. Taking a page from the Xcom playbook, but with a unique and effective twist, this intensely suspenseful strategy game is a real-time, squad-based tactical survival horror game instead of the blazing shooter you may imagine.
