ORDOS CITY

Ordos city is one of the twelve major subdivisions of Inner Mongolia, China. it lies within the ordos plateau of the yellow river.

ordos are known for its recently undertaken large government projects, including most prominently the Kang Bashi district.

when it was newly built, the streets of the new Kang Bashi district did not have much activity, and the district was frequently described as a ghost city by seven western media outlets.

 

HASHIMA ISLAND

Hashima island commonly called Gunkanjima is an abandoned island of Nagasaki lying about 15 kilometers from the center of the city, it is one of the 505 uninhabited islands in Nagasaki prefecture. the island's most notable features are its abandoned concrete buildings, undisturbed except by nature and the surrounding seal wall.

from around 40 years from now, it is commonly known as the haunted island of Nagasaki.

 

AKARMARA

Akarmara is a town of polar opposites, once a mining town with elaborate soviet architecture and now a ghost town swarming with people. the people today, like us, are day-trippers who come to see an extraordinary town.

after 1980 the unprofitability of the coal mining industry in the perestroika age, coupled with the end of the USSR shortly after, numbers dwindled and the mines closed.

 

GOLDFIELD

Goldfield is an unincorporated community and the country seat of Esmeralda County, Nevada. it is a census-designated place, with a resident population of 268 at the 2010 census. many of the beliefs about the town that it is still haunted and the inhabitants of the ghost in the town.

also known as BoomTown.

Much of the town was destroyed by a fire in 1923, although several buildings survived and remain today, notably the Goldfield Hotel.

 

PYRAMIDEN

pyramiden is an abandoned soviet coal mining settlement on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard which becomes a popular touristic destination. founded by Sweden in 1910 and sold to the soviet union in 1927, pyramenden was closed in 1998 and has since remained largely abandoned with most of its infrastructure and buildings still in place the cold climate preserving much of what has been left behind.

 

FATEHPUR SIKRI

Fatehpur Sikri is a town in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, India. the city itself founded as the capital of the Mughal Empire in 1571 by emperor Akbar, serving this role from 1571 to 1587, when Akbar abandoned it due to a campaign in Punjab and was later completely abandoned in 1610.

it is also the most beautiful Empty city in the world having red buildings.

the city was abandoned because there was no adequate means of drinking water, as well as the normal water, and day by day peoples over there, started facing various water problems.

 

KULDHARA

Kuldhara is an abandoned village in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan India, established around the 13th century, it was once a prosperous village inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins. 

it was abandoned by the early 19th century for unknown reasons, possibly because of a dwindling water supply.

 

BURJ AL BABAS

Burj al babas is a residential development located near the Turkish town of Muduen. the homes in the development are designed to resemble miniature chateaux. the center of the complex was to include a domed structure containing stores, a movie theater, and other facilities open to residents.

construction began in 2014. the development was originally successful, but the sale eventually stalled, causing the developer to enter bankruptcy. falling oil prices and instability in turkey have been cited as reasons for the lack of sales.

 

MANDU

mandu or mandavgad is an ancient city in the present-day mandav area of the Dhar district. it is located in the malwa region of western Madhya Pradesh, India, at 35 m from Dhar city. 

there is still no sufficient cause to answer why people had left this small town although having all the facilities and the most importantly Narmada river also touches Mandu.

 

UFO city

Sanzhi UFO Houses also known as the UFO houses of Sanjhih, were a set of abandoned and never completed pod-shaped buildings in the Sanzhi district. the buildings resembled future houses

this city was made with the intention of a vacation resort. however, this project was never completed in 1980 due to investment losses and several car accident deaths and suicides during the construction, which is said to have been caused by the inauspicious act of bisecting the Chinese dragon sculpture located near the resort gates for widening the road to the buildings.
