This is the world's first carbon fibre phone

The first carbon fibre phone in the world has just appeared on the market, a device that despite its size weighs very little.

Most smartphones on the market are made of polycarbonate, metal or some mixture of glass and metal, and perhaps to excel within the saturated mobile phone segment, the company called Carbon Mobile has dared to launch the world's first phone Made of carbon fibre.

The Carbon 1 Mark II is manufactured with a technology called HyRECM (Hybrid Radio Enabled Composite Materials) with a mixture of different composite materials. The carbon fibres of the design are interwoven with compounds to create a continuous monocoque design resulting in a thin and very light device. That is why the Carbon 1 Mark II weighs only 125 grams, and has a thickness of 6.3 mm, although we are talking about a terminal with a screen of 6.01 inches protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Inside, we find a Mediatek Helio P90 processor, with an 8GB RAM, and with 128GB of internal storage. Regarding the photographic section, it has two rear cameras. Completing the rest of the features, it carries a 3050mAh battery that is charged through a USB Type-C port at the bottom. It has a fingerprint scanner on the side and is located just below the power button.

As you can see, the Carbon 1 Mark II is a high-end mid-range phone, and because it is made of carbon fibre it has a sale price of € 800, although only available as a pre-order. To place the order of the device you have to make an initial payment of € 250, and complete the remaining payment about 15 days before delivery.

You could say that it is not a device for the mass market because nonetheless they only have 2000 units available to start delivering from June.
