There is no doubt about the tour of Sri Lanka

There is no batting consultant, and spin coach Daniel Vettori is unlikely to come. When will the tour of Sri Lanka? There are big doubts about whether this year will happen at all. The Tigers' skill training camp is going on in Mirpur with all such uncertainties. However, if the LPL is postponed, there will be a Test series in November.Fog from the very beginning with the Lanka tour. The scene of the drama is changing from time to time. However, according to the latest update given by the BCB, the Tigers are not boarding the flight to Lanka on September 26 as per the pre-determined plan. But the series of the Bangladesh team, which has been out of international matches for a long time, cannot be missed, so the two boards are still trying to resolve it.

The Sri Lankan Premier League-LPL schedule that is affecting the Tigers' tour is also likely to be delayed. The rest of the Pakistan Super League matches will be played in November. So the players of that country are not available at that time. Moreover, due to the strict rules of 14-day quarantine, many foreign players are also showing disinterest. The Sri Lankan administration is expected to change the quarantine rules after November. So the fixtures of LPL can go after that. The cricket boards of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are also thinking of using that opportunity. Following this plan, the Tigers will visit Lanka in November.

But the bargaining with the Lankans for the preparation is going well, isn't it? Batting consultant Craig Mankmilan has resigned. No new names have been heard yet. Spin coach Daniel Vettori was scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday. I haven't seen him either. If the day of the Lanka tour is not final, the Kiwi legend is less likely to come. Apart from the two coaching staff, the skill training of the Tigers is incomplete. If the 14-day quarantine rules given by the Sri Lankan Kovid Task Force are followed, the Tigers will visit Lanka at the scheduled time. If not, the two boards will discuss and give a new schedule soon. The task force did not agree to the request of the SLC to reduce the quarantine time to 7 days as per the demand of the BCB.
The two countries are busy preparing. Players are desperate to get back to cricket by removing Corona's paw. However, it will not happen if you want. The cricket boards of the two countries have not been able to reach a consensus.

The Lankan Cricket Board said the Tigers must be in quarantine for at least 14 days. I don't mean BCB. Saf informed that Bangladesh will not go on tour if it stays in quarantine for more than 7 days.

The SLC has held meetings to see if it can be accepted. Kovid requested the task force but to no avail. The task force has made it clear that quarantine is not possible for less than 14 days. So the series is more likely to go backward.
