The venue of the meeting in Lucknow changed suddenly, All India Muslim Personal Law Board meeting today

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board Working Committee will meet on Sunday at Mumtaz College in Lucknow after the Supreme Court gives its verdict on the Ram temple in Ayodha. The meeting location has suddenly changed.

               

Before the meeting was to be held at Nadwa College, but now it will be at Mumtaz PG College. The meeting was attended by Maulana Khalid Rasheed, Farangi Mahali, Executive Member of the Board along with Board Vice President Maulana Jalaluddin Umri, Convenor of Women's Wing.Dr.Asma Jahra, General secretory of the Board Maulana Wali Rehmani, All India Majlis-e-Ittihad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and from Hyderabad.MP Asaduddin Owaisi and President, Jamiat Ulama Hind Maulana Arshad Madni, have also reached Mumtaz College.

The four women members of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board meeting were Dr. Asma Zahra, Nighat Parveen Khan, Mamduha Majid of Delhi, Aamna Rizwana was also present. In the meeting after the Supreme Court's decision on the Ayodhya dispute, a decision will be taken on filing a review petition or curative petition. In this meeting, the Personal Law Board will also decide its future strategy on the Ayodhya issue. Muslim parties have different opinions after the Supreme Court Verdict.         

                                                                                                                                                                                            

Zafaryab Jilani, Secretory and senior Advocate of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, said to fila a review petition in this matter soon after the verdict came. There is also a side which is saying that now this issue should be ended here. Now nothing will be achieved by filling a review petition in this case. 

In this context, the meeting of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board Working Committee on Sunday is considered important. The meeting was to be held at Nadwa College but later changed to Mumtaz College Lucknow. Officials reached the capital on Saturday to participate in this meeting. It will also be considered whether to take five acres of land to the Sunni Waqf Board or not.           

Since the Supreme Court's decision came, two opinions have remained in the Muslim Personal Law Board on the Ayodhya issue. Still, suspense remains on filing a review petition. Almost all members are unanimous that five acres of land should not be taken to build a mosque.
