The statue of Unity is the tallest statue in the world. And it is located at the Sadhu Bate of Narmada river in Garudeshwar taluka of Narmada district of Gujarat state.Sardar Patel (Iron Man) The second Iron Man is famous all over India. Sardar Patel was born in Nadiad on 31 October 1875.Statue of Unity project was first announced on October 7, 2010. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Unity Trust was established by the Government of Gujarat to create the Statue of Unity. Iron was collected from 650000 villages by this trust.The foundation stone was laid by Narendra Modi in 2013 on the 138th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. 1 billion and 5 billion allocated by the Government of Gujarat in the 2012-2013 budget. The statue has been erected by a total of 4076 workers. It had 800 Indian workers and 200 Chinese workers and all others.Steelframing, reinforced cement concrete and bronze cladding have been used to make this statue.75000 cubic meters of concrete, 5700 metric ton steel structure ,18500 ton reinforced steel road 22500 ton bronze steel.The 30 octaber was fully prepared on 2018 and was inaugurated on 31 October 2018 by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Bhai Modi on the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
