You all must have heard the name of Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Ramakrishna Paramhansa was the priest of the largest Kali temple in Calcutta and he had such power of consciousness that he could directly talk to Mother Kali and he used to feed her with his own hands.
He had many disciples in Calcutta, among whom the most important and favorite of Paramahamsa was Swami Vivekananda. But Ramakrishna Paramahamsa loved food more than knowledge, devotion and everything else. He often used to think about food and used to yearn for it. Often his eyes were only on his plate and whenever he used to eat food, he used to find fault in it like there is less salt, less cumin etc.
Due to this, both his wife and mother used to be very sad because of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, because he often used to find some fault in the food, but whenever he ate food, he ate it with great relish.
One day when Ramakrishna Paramahansa was having dinner, as usual he found some fault in the food and due to this his wife and mother got angry and said to Ramakrishna Paramahansa, “Do you keep finding faults in the food whenever you see me?” "Why are you so enthusiastic about food? You have such great disciples and you yourself are so knowledgeable."
Ramakrishna Paramahansa looked at his wife and mother and said, "For me, the essence of devotion, God and meditation is food and the day I stop taking pleasure in this food, you should understand that within a week I will I will sacrifice my life."
After this, many years later, one day when Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's wife brought food for Paramahamsa, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa started eating and he continued eating and did not say anything, then Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's wife said, "Today you will be given food." I am not feeling any less salt." Then Ramakrishna Paramhansa said, "Today I am not enjoying the food."
Hearing this, Paramahamsa's wife wrote a letter to Swami Vivekananda the next morning and asked him to reach Calcutta as soon as possible because the time of his Guru Paramahamsa is near.
After reading this letter, Swami Vivekananda reached Calcutta after a few days and Ramakrishna Paramhansa sacrificed his life in the lap of Swami Vivekananda.
So friends, in this way the highest juice of Ramakrishna Paramhansa has ended, friends, in this way there is juice in your life too and that juice is that whenever you do any work and you get completely immersed in it, then that itself becomes life. It is said that this is the highest juice which should never end in your life because once it ends, there is no reason left for you to stay on earth.
So friends, if you get a chance to do any work in life or you do it, then immerse yourself in the juice of that work and enjoy that highest juice which will connect you or take you to God.
Ramakrishna Paramahansa was a great seeker who was completely devoted to God and transformed Bal Narendra into Swami Vivekananda.
