Captain jaidev dangi was born 2nd February 1989 in Haryana. His father name is late Shri hathiyar Singh and mother Smt Rangiora Devi
achievements during student life:-
Jaidev had been a consistently good student and had streakers of bright spark. In 1997 while class 5th, prestigious scholarship in the 10th board he was the land topper object School security 86.8%. in 2005 he passed his senior secondary exam with 78%.subsequently he was selected in NDA and was declared the best cadet out of 529 of his batchmates at the academy of khadakwasla. He was bestowed with the sword of honor for his performance as an NDA trainee.
On an operation:-
Captain along with his friends was in South Kashmir, the 25-year-old engaged Ritu around four months back on Valentine's day, 2014 and they were about to get married in two months. They were planning everything for their marriage on the phone. Jaidev was listening carefully to Ritu until something disturbed them. Jaidev disconnected the phone by saying Ritu listen I can't talk I will speak to your letter don't call back.
He had to disconnect the phone due to the commandos' urgent call who briefed about the location for a terrorist in a house in buchu village which less than 10 km away. As soon as Jayden and the team receive information about terrorists they left out there headquarter to remove the terrorist. The militant was named Adil Ahmed mir and he was stalking Kashmir for many years but failed to several months.
Captain along with 8 man squad reached the location and covered all the probable escaping routes. While operating, it comes to know that there are more than two terrorists their. Firing from both sides began and took intense from. Jayadevan Mukesh (his fellow commando) held the lead spot. Devar behind the tree thuk but it could not save jaidev from being fired by a bullet on his thigh. Also, Mukesh suffered identical injuries so, he called a team member to take care of him. Then, the captain pulled forward his TER21 and shutdown Adil mir. But ki hand not yet died and as he has faced him. Adil Fired his last shot at the captain leaving his cheek behind, torn his skin. Captain took the opportunity and pinned him down. Even the injury did not stop jaidev, he wants ahead to find the third terrorist and killed him in a quick close-range fire.
After killing the third terrorist, he rushed back to the location where Mukesh was laying. He said to Mukesh "two bullets are not enough to kill an Indian commando".jaidev and his squad killed the terrorist and suffered injuries. They were then taken to the camp with the mission received a call in the evening. She then got to know about what had happened
The honor:-
For his exemplary valor on 26th January 2015, he was declared to have earned Kirti chakra as part of the contingent of republic day gallantry awardees. On 21st March, Jaydev was confirmed Kirti chakra by the president Mr. Pranab Mukherjee at a function in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
