The large number of free applications that we find on the Internet has its pros and cons. Games and applications of all kinds that have enriched our lives, but among them are many traps, we can run into some malicious application that downloads a virus on our mobile.

9Game.com is a portal where many users go to find and download free games for Android. However, it has won the unpleasant prize of being the application store in which there is a greater concentration of malicious applications.
After 9Game.com, the official store of Android applications is located at a considerable distance, that is, Google Play Store and that is installed by default on all phones with this operating system. RiskIQ has found in the Google store, 25,647 new malicious applications.
Google has been working in recent months to find these dangerous applications and remove them from the store. RiskIQ has ensured that "the number of blacklisted apps in the Play Store fell an impressive 76.4% in 2019". However, its selection system is still easy enough to circumvent so that it remains a risk to download any application.
In the list, however, does not appear one of the great rivals of Google, the Apple Store. The apple company has a much more comprehensive control system that examines each application individually, while other stores of other brands rely on the security and reliability of their applications in an automated control system.
Also in the top 5 of the list are Zhushou from Qihoo 360, the Feral application store and the lesser-known Huawei Vmall application store. In addition, RiskIQ states that most of these new applications (both clean and malicious) come from Chinese developers and that in 2019 18% more applications were loaded in application stores than in 2018.
Before these applications, it is always advisable to have a good security or antivirus system on the phone that monitors for us if the applications we download can damage the system.
