HUAWEI P40 LINEUP

It has been quite a while since the ban put on Huawei by the US. But still, Huawei is looking for a come back in the international market again. With its new P40 series Huawei is trying to capture the attention of many people not only in China but also internationally.

Let's talk about the specifications, design of these handsets, and what they are capable of doing. Huawei is going to launch three models in the P40 series. These are the P40, P40 Pro, and the P40 Pro Plus.

DESIGN

SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

When it comes to the design of these handsets, they are very similar and have an elegant as well.

• The P40 and P40 Pro will have a metal and glass design.
• The P40 Pro Plus will be coming with a ceramic finish option.
• The P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus will have a curved edge display on the sides and bottom as well.
• The P40 has a plane screen in the front.
• All the models support the in-display fingerprint scanner.
• All the models have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

SCREEN SIZE AND SPECIFICATION

• All the models have a dual punch-hole front camera cut out.
• The P40 has a 6.1-inch 2340x1080p resolution, flat panel.
• The P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus have a 6.58 inches, 2640x1200p resolution with 90 Hz 'Over Flow' display. The displays will be OLD.

CAMERAS

When it comes to the camera department, Huawei has always toped the DXO scores and has proven again and again that they have improved in the camera department.

SPECIFICATIONS

• The P40 will have a triple camera setup at the back. The main sensor is a 50MP (RYYB) sensor with OIS and f/1.9 aperture. A 16 MP Ultrawide sensor and an 8MP zoom lens that supports up to 3 times optical zoom.
• The p40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus have a quad and Penta camera setup, respectively. The primary sensor is a 50MP (RYYB) sensor. The ultrawide camera will be a 40MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The zoom lens will be a 12MP f/3.4 aperture sensor, which will have a five-time optical capability.
• Only the P40 Pro Plus will have an 8MP sensor that supports a 10x optical zoom, and all the cameras in all the modules will support OIS as well.

HARDWARE

As far as the hardware of these models is concerned, Huawei has done an amazing job here as well.

• All the models will have Huawei's latest kirin 990 processors and 5G capability as well.
• All the models will have wireless charging and reverse wireless charging as well.
• The P40 model will have a 22.5W fast charging capability.
• The P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus will have 40W fast charging.
• The P40 handset will have a 3,800 mah battery.
• While the P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus will have a 4,200 mah battery.

As far as the battery of Huawei devices is concerned, they have always performed well, and we can also expect exceptional longevity as well.

SOFTWARE

As far as software is concerned, the P40 Lineup will come without google services, which can be a big problem for Huawei as most people use google services in their daily life. But Huawei will provide us with HMS(Huawei Mobile Services), which Huawei claims is better than Google services. Although there are many ways of downloading Google applications, there will be some problems using them.
