Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born at Makkah in 571 A.D. His father was Hazar Abdullah belonged to the noble clan of banu Hashim. Hazrat Abdullah had passed away before the Holy prophet was born. In the childhood of the Holy prophet his mother hazrat Bibi Amina also died. So the Holy prophet was brought up by his uncle and grand father. At the age of twelve year the Holy prophet traveled with his uncle's business caravan to Syria. When the Holy prophet was twenty five years old a wealthy lady hazrat khadija requested for marriage which the Holy prophet accepted. At the age of forty the Holy prophet proclaimed prophet hood and continued preaching of Islam. He said that Allah is one and i am his Apostle. The Holy prophet told the people to give up gambling, drinking, telling a lie, and beating their wives alive the Kafirs of Makkah opposed. The Holy prophet was obliged to leave Makkah and migrated to Madina. Here the people of Makkah also annoyed the Holy prophet. At last the Holy prophet declared. The Holy war, against the infidels religion spread all over Arabia.
The Holy prophet (peace be upon him )led a simple life. He wore plain clothes and took simple food. He was very keen of cleanliness. He liked to do the work with his own hands,patched his own clothes, mended his shoes. He would say that Allah loves the man who earns his own living by honest labour. The Holy prophet (peace be upon him)stood by weak and never a man in distress go to him came back disappointed.
Although he was prophet of Allah never looked upon himself as superior to other men.
He died at the age of sixty three at Madina and buried at Madina. May his soul rest in peace.
