The highest peak in the world is Mount Everest which is 8848.86 meters above sea level. In 1865 AD Mount Everest was named by the name of Sir George Everest. It is located in the Solukhumbu district, the No. 1 province of Nepal. Mount Everest is called Chomolungma (Jhumulangma) in the Tibetan language and Mount Everest in Nepal. Many names for Mount Everest, such as Third Pole, Peak XV, and local Sherpas, also call Mount Everest Devdunga.

Everest is said to be 600 million years old. Everest was formed by the movement of the Earth's tectonic plates as the Indian subcontinental plate collides with the Eurasian continental plate. Little did anyone know that Mount Everest was at the top of the world until the 1st century.

Sir Edmund Percival Hillary KG and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa were the first to climb Mount Everest on May 29, 1993. Nepal has 8 of the ten highest mountains in the world. The largest and most famous of these is Mount Everest.

To date, at least 5,000 climbers have attempted to climb Mount Everest. Of those, 240 never returned. Mount Everest has a mortality rate of 5.5%. Avalanches are the central area of ​​mountaineering failure to climb high mountains in unpredictable weather. The oldest and most experienced are sudden hailstorms, freezing temperatures, avalanches, high winds, cracks, and extreme hazards. It is also very difficult for mountaineers. However, the use of advanced gear and technology made in modern times and the use of highly trained guides help reduce the mortality rate.

Many people dream of climbing Mount Everest. But in reality, your physical and mental condition must be fully prepared for the climb. There are some rules to follow in Nepal before climbing Mount Everest. Climbers must be between 18 and 75 years old. Only people who have already covered 6,500 meters (21,32 feet) will be allowed. They have climbed more mountains than they need to prove. Someone with a disability or blind person needs to carry them. Only those who can go on their own are allowed.

Mountaineers, in general, need six months of training to adapt to high altitudes. It is essential for climbing Mt. Everest. Then cross the base camp of Mount Everest and then additional commands to allow their bodies to adapt to higher altitudes. One by one, Camp 1, Camp 2, Camp 3, and finally, climb Mt.everest.

The temperature of Mount Everest

The weather in Everest was unexpected. The coldest month of the year is January, when the temperature drops too low -76℉ (-60 ℃). The temperatures will be registered at 19℉ (-7℃). Soon the temperature never rises above. The weather at Everest is tough to predict.

Along with life-threatening cold temperatures, wind and carelessness also pose a threat to mountaineers. In addition to snow and ice, strong winds often blow sand and rocks during storms. Unexpected storms do not take long to freeze even 10 feet (3 m) of snow, for which this place is very familiar.
