The first photo of the Oppo smartwatch clear doubts about its operating system

Everything pointed to a presentation at the Mobile World Congress, but in the end, after the cancellation of the fair, Oppo has moved to March 6 the announcement of both Oppo Find X 2 and its Oppo Watch. Now, we have some new details of the Oppo smartwatch, which will arrive with Wear OS.

If the image you have just on these lines does not deceive us, the first Oppo smartwatch will feature the Google operating system for wearables. Wear OS is a practical operating system for smartwatches that brings to the wrist the best of the integration between Google apps and services.

It has a very good design and performance, but it is not the operating system that best crumbs with the battery, at least in the latest watches in which it has been implemented.

The first Oppo smartwatch is expected to be one of the best alternatives to Apple Watch for two reasons: price and design. As far as design is concerned, the previous images, the leaks and the new image leave no doubt: we will have a profile very similar to the Apple watch.

We will not have the crown, but the square format resembles the Cupertino clock. The box will be made of aluminium and, as we told you a few days ago, the edges would have a pronounced curvature. The second reason is that Oppo wants to position its Oppo Watch in a very attractive price range.

It is something we have seen with the recent smartwatches of brands like Xiaomi, for example. Now, you just have to wait for the presentation of Oppo Watch to have all the details of the device, if it will finally include a sensor to perform electrocardiograms and if Wear OS ends up being the chosen operating system.

And, speaking of Oppo presentations, we remind you that a few days ago the specifications of the Find X2 were leaked, the new top of the range of the Chinese company that we will also know on March 6 and that will debut with the Snapdragon 865 and a battery with fast charging Super VOOC 2.0 65 W.
