Technical Support Scams 

Computers, Digital Cameras,Smart Phones,iPhones,iPad,Tablet, Printers etc are devices whom we depend a lot. Not Everyone is Technically sound to fix issues and here is how scammers play. Most of the cases we receive calls from unknown number and callers acts like they are calling from your Internet Service Provider/Microsoft/Facebook/Apple/Canon like so on. I am sharing few points which if you follow wouldn't be scammed-

1- No Brand calls their customers until you request for call back. 

2- Do Not Search Any Brand Tech support on Google. Scammers run their advertisements as Microsoft Technical Support or any other company's technical support. 

3- If you need Technical support, open the website of that particular company, then contact them.

4- At last, they don't charge for Technical support. If someone asking for money, then understand it's the third party.

POP UP ON COMPUTER SCREEN 

If you ever get any pop freezing your computer screen, then Don't get afraid,Relaxe nothing is the wrong restart, your computer pop up will vanish. 

Don't Share Credentials 

Remember not to share your email password, Computer password, Card details to anyone over the telephone.

SAY NO TO REMOTE ACCESS 

Don't share your computer screen with anyone whom you don't trust. 

Printer Support scams 

If you get into trouble with your printer, then before looking for anyone else, try to check your machine by your own . Check Cartridges, make sure you have installed cartridges in their proper slots. 

Check the level of Ink 

Don't forget to plug in the cable in the socket and check it is on.

Facebook support scams 

In case you are unable to access our Facebook account, then click on forgot password. 

Facebook Account Hacked-

When you see your Facebook account being used by someone else then Instantly report to cybercrime. After this register your secondary email on Facebook and search your hacked account then report it to Facebook ,you will get this option there.

Email Support Scams 

If you are unable to logged in then try to retrieve your password by clicking on forgotten password option. 

It's useful if you write down all your passwords in your personal diary and lock it in safely. 

In these Facebook or Email password issues scammers tries to scare you that there are some people who are trying to access your account or they say bluntly that your account has been blocked . But Trust my words Hacking of Emails of ordinary people is rare it doesn't happen naturally.Scammers demand Certain amount of money saying that they will secure your email by installing security and people who are not Technically sound they get into their trap and end up losing their hard earn money. 

Install Antivirus 

Remember not to install free version of antivirus as free version is just a demo to show how it works and would be cleaning for 30 days only that too with less efficiency and with lots of limitations. 

It's better to have a paid version of Good Anti Virus-like NORTON, KASPERSKY, MCAFEE. Any 1 of these three antiviruses would be enough to secure your data and boost your computer's efficiency and speed.
