Tale Me About Yourself

Preparation is the most and compulsory before going to do anything, before going to face anything, before going to handle any task or whatever so far. We must have to prepare even to go for school. And think how it should be, when we are about to face an interview? Is not it quite compulsive and tricky? How often does anyone think about; how I should look for the interview, what would be they ask? What suppose to I tale about? Like this may Q marks pep in our mind 24hour prior to interview at least, is not it? But how it would be, if we go for a monk preparation with those questions what all are expected to be asked at interview? It’s a need to do at least once adequate time before the interview, where we can analyze ourselves with the expected questions and we can prefix the topics and even what kind of terms we suppose to use for the talk on a particular question too!

So…..! What would be the first question at Interview?
Let’s discuss about the most frequent first question always asked by interviewers at each interview!
Tale me or Brief me about yourself? / Can you please introduce yourself? / Please give me your self introduction? / Can I hear something about you?

These above all questions are about one thing only but, these are the way of asking, varies by the interviewers. So in that moment you are your own representative and have to say something by which the interviewer can get an overall idea about you e.g. who you are? What you do? Including your Qualifications, Skills and Family background!!

*Who You Are: This is the tag for both freshers and experienced Credentials!
*What You Do: This tag has to be added by experienced credentials with “who you Are” Tag because freshers do not have any work data to brief!

Below mentioned are the topics quite often chosen by most candidatures and been separated for freshers and experienced profiles to describe or represent own selves in a gentle manner for minimum two minutes at least, until asked second question by the interviewer and these below topics are the only to explain to introduce yourself or to brief yourself and mostly favorable by interviewers!!

FRESHERS Experienced
1. Name 1. Name
2. Qualification 2. Qualification
3. Family Background 3. Job Experiences
4. Hobbies 4. Family Background
  5. Hobbies (Optional)

Whether you are a fresher in job beach or an experienced in a professional valley, when you enter to interviewer’s cabin, take always a consent to enter inside, once permitted, don’t forget to greet with that moment time phrase (Good Morning/ Good After noon/ Good Evening, never ever use the phrases; Hai/Hallo). And remember there may be more than one interviewer persons expected inside at some places for both freshers and experienced profile. Do not seat directly too until you offered to seat because we don’t know which manner interviewer want to take the interview.

Now the time to go….!! Face the question….!!

Tale your full Name using “I Am” or “My Name Is”, never ever say myself, e.g. I am/My Name is Harshal Kambli/ Harish Chandra Pradhan (Don’t say only your first name even).

Then you say about your completed qualification in descending order (Master Degrees, P.G, Degrees, H. S. C) and next about pursuing studies if you dose and technical skills if you have. And if any one gone through internship, study tour or any extracurricular if you have, can be added to the next! Remember here this is the only one topic (Qualification) to emphasize more by freshers because you are a fresher and you do not have any job experience. Experienced credentials have to continue with third topic (Job Experience) by describing with descending order too and should emphasize more and pitched with achievements in present or earlier job carrier if any.

(Remember, in most cases interviewers asks the second question when you are about to finish of your qualification line time for freshers and for experienced, when about to finishing of job experiences, but if you are not hearing the second question by this time thane, the interviewer is looking to hear more something about you by which S/he can relate to ask the second question, so if you are asked by second question, thane start saying on that second question otherwise have to continue your talk on the first question one until you are not asked by second question. So, for the continuance of the talk, remained topics (family background, Hobbies) are the most relevant topic in an ongoing phrase.)

Continue your talk, adding the next topic; about your Family Background; say what position you carry among your siblings e.g. if you are middle (4th) among siblings, say I am (remember to use “I AM” not myself) the mid son/daughter of my parent and I have two elder brother, one elder sis/bro and one younger sis and about Parent, spouse if married.

Then continue about your Hobbies, if you feel any of your hobbies may make an impression to your interviewer according to what job you are trying to be hired. Highlight that one first and elaborate a little about that hobby e.g. if “Reading Books” is a hobby for you and you are trying to get a job in educational field, teaching profession, an assistant in library or librarian etc.

(Don’t forget about your getup too, means about “Dress Code” & “Grooming Séance”. Before going to face any kind of interview, just look at yourself and maintain the Grooming Standard and Dress Code, even for some kind of interviews they mentions about the dress code, if it needs to be followed!!!)
