The divine lake located at the end of Kaghan Valley near Naran seems like Heaven on Earth. The story of this lake is much famous and attracts the locals as well as tourists.
Saif-ul-Malook was a prince came from Egypt. He had a handsome amount of treasure inherited from forefathers. When he saw the Fairy Princess in Dream, He fell in love with her and left his home for find out princess after completing six years of working he met saint in the street of Egypt, Who advised him for forty days chilla (continuous pray forty days) After completing chilla his health getting worst but he did not gave up prayed.
Finally, he found Fairy Princess in the 14th night of that month when moon reflected on lake and lake seems like a mirror, there were also shadow of mountains, twinkling stars in cold breeze, prince saw Fairy coming with her maids towards the lake. She was truly beautiful and very stunning as her long black hairs and attracted eyes were adding more colours in her beauty.
After talking princess, Saif came to know that she was trapped by white giant (Jinn) in Kohqaf. The white giant was also fall in love with her, Saif took her and tried to leave the valley. When white gaint came to know this, he was out of control and created anger in the lake as outcome was flood, so Prince and princess hide themselves in a cave away from Naran.
As the locals of Kaghan valley the prince and Fairy princess are still live and walk around the lake every 14th night of lunar month.
