Ingredients of rawa upma
- 250 grm of semolina
- 650 ml water
- 75 grm ghee
- 5 grm mustard seeds
- 2 grm black grasm dal
- 2 grm bengal gram dal
- 100 grm onions
- 5 grm green chillies
- 25 grm cashew nuts
- 2 grm curry leaves salt
Garnishing:
coriander leaves with coconut grated.
How to Make Rawa Upma
- Booil water.
- Slice onions and cut the chillies lengthwise.
- Heat a deep pan with ghee. Add mustard, when crackling add the dals and saute ubtil golden.
- Add onions curry leaves, cashew nuts and gree chillies. When the onions are translucent add semolina and saute.
- Add the boiling water and stir raoidly with the salt. When the moisture is absorbed, the upma is cooked.
- Mix well and garnish with grated coconut and corinder leaves.
