Over population is to be checked if we want our upcoming generations to have quality life. Population is rising exponentially, however, some countries like India and china are using over population to it's advantage for cheap labour and huge market for consumption. In my opinion, Over population is becoming the biggest threat to the existence of Mankind.
Till 1800 population of the world was 1 billion while it touched the figure of 2 billion in 1927. 93 years later, in 2020 the population reached to 7.7 billion. Population is growing at a dangerous speed. 93 years ago, world had to feed only 2 billion humans. now same aricultural sector has to feed around 8 billion humans. Feeding of such huge number of humans is not an easy task which led to the hybrid tillage. Fertilizers and pesticides led to the origination of multiple deases and malnourishment of children then leads to stunted growth and other deases.
It's not only about feeding mankind, rather, other resources are also depleting i,e water, oil and gas etc. Population blast led to rapid urbanization, consequently, water table is going down. climate change is a new phenomenon due to pollution; caused by over population. Apparently future wars are to be fought upon water between countries.
Besides, quality of life has gone down. Quality education and health facilities are very few as governments cannot provide it to all citizens of a particular country. services and goods cannot be provided to everyone when population is increasing exponentially.
To conclude, the population is increasing very rapidly particularly since last few decades. It's proving to be a curse for whole mankind. Human race is at a threat due to population blast as it originates different difficulties. Humans have to deal with this emerging threat for humans to save the humans from extinction.
