Storyline:

Zeus accuses Poseidon's son Percy Jackson of stealing his lightning bolt and gives him fourteen days to return it, failing which he would start a gods' war. As Percy, a dyslexic and ADHD adolescent, is visiting The Metropolitan Museum of Art, a fury dressed as his instructor attacks him. Grover, his best friend who is physically disabled, tells Percy that he is a guardian and a demigod. Mr. Brunner, his instructor, gives him a pen and says it is a strong weapon. After visiting Percy's home, they take a car to Camp Halfth Blood with his mother Sally. But before Percy can assist her, a minotaur attacks Sally, and she disappears.When Hades attacks them in the camp, claiming to desire the lightning bolt for himself, Percy makes friends with the stunning Annabeth and learns that his mother is in the Underworld with Hades. In an attempt to save his mother and find the lightning bolt, Percy sets off on a perilous journey. Grover and Annabeth accompany him, and Luke provides Percy with a formidable shield of his own. Can they achieve success?

Summary

 

Teenager Percy Jackson, who is always getting into trouble, has an even more complicated existence when he finds out he is the son of the Greek deity Poseidon.
