Peace of Mind

Our mind is that computer which keeps on working on various tasks all the time. It is overloaded with many emotions, thoughts, ideas, etc. As we are becoming modern and developing our lifestyle day by day we are also increasing strain and stress on our mind.

In this computerized and competitive world, the workload on the mind is increasing. Not only that, Jealousy, anger, over possessiveness are some of the emotions which make one unhappy and person nurturing these thoughts or the one who can't cope up with it finishes with depressed and unhappy time. Of course, there is no person who as not got these emotions in his mind but having control over them and not letting them get over the magnitude is very important.

Many people suggest that you get peace by doing certain exercises or meditation it can help to decline it but can't end it. According to me, it's not, because if it would be so there would not be politics going on, no crimes going on, no violence going on in the society.

Peace of mind means having control over your emotions. As so, if you and jealous or angry about the other person it's not going to affect him directly it's our health your time which is going to be affected a lot. So it's very important to let things pass away which creates unnecessary problems or which brings unnecessary thoughts in your mind.

You might also ask, whether it is possible to turn it into the habit and enjoy it always and under all circumstances. Actually, there are a few things you can do to enjoy more peace in your life, and in time, you might gain the ability to experience it quite often.

1. Accept what cannot be changed. This saves a lot of time, energy and worries. Every day, we face numerous inconveniences, irritations, and situations that are beyond our control. If we can change them, that's fine, but this is not always possible. We must learn to put up with such things and accept them cheerfully.

2. Stay away from negative conversations and from negative people. You don't want their thoughts and words to sink into your subconscious mind and affect your mood and state of mind.

3. Don't take everything too personally. A certain degree of emotions and mental detachment is very helpful. On many occasions, it would be useful to inject a certain measure of detachment and non-involvment. This would bring into your life more peace, harmony and common sense.

"Nobody can bring you peace but yourself."---Ralph Waldo Emerson
