* Millions of people are expected to be hit hard in the past few weeks, radio researchers said in a 'Security Alert' post on their website.

* How does a fake Google Chrome app get into your phone? Fraudsters send a message that you have received a parcel of something from abroad and that you need to pay some money for it.

* The Chrome app will ask you to update after clicking on the link in that message. That's all if you update the Chrome app. After the update your Google Chrome malware will turn into an app.

* It then states that one or two dollars must be paid by credit card to have the package delivered. So if you pay by credit card, all your details will fall into the hands of a cyber criminal. This can lead to online banking scams. This is what the Smiling Trojan says.

How can your phone become a 'super spreader' of malware?

* It doesn’t stop there. After the fake Google Chrome app is installed on the victim's phone.

* Sends more than 2000 messages a week from victims' mobiles to random phone numbers that seem to be following each other for 2 or 3 hours every day.

* This is done by sending from one mobile to another and attacking. Researchers say that there is no doubt that this fake Google Chrome app looks like the official Chrome app. You can see the details like the package name in the app info and remember that it is not real.

* This fake Google Chrome app was created by hackers who are so armed that even the anti-viruses in the mobile do not recognize it. Currently, researchers have discovered two fake Chrome apps. Researchers say that it is better not to click on any links to avoid being caught by such cyber criminals.

* It is suggested not to enter debit / credit card details anywhere. Mobile users are always asked to download and update only from the official Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

We do not have to be careful every minute otherwise we will not be able to download any application application as it is likely to go total in the hands of these cyber criminals
