Movistar gives away 100 GB for its Fusion customers: this is how they activate

Movistar was one of the companies that reacted the fastest at the beginning of the crisis, giving data to its Fusion customers. In the last hours, they have chosen to expand the gift gigs to users, going from 60 to 100 GB. How are they activated? We will tell you.

Movistar expands free gigabytes: from 60 to 100 in 2 months

If you are a Movistar client, you may have received a new message from the company in the last few hours. In this message, they report that they will increase the additional gigabytes that they would initially give away for two months to make the stay at home more bearable.

The message at first may seem confusing, as it tells us that our additional GB goes from 60 to 100, +20 GB / month. But shouldn't the difference be 40GB?

Indeed, these 100 GB that Movistar gives away is distributed between March and April. Initially, the company was going to give 30 GB for March and 30 for April, but finally, it will be 50 GB for two months. If you have not yet benefited from the promotion and sign up now, it will be 50 GB for April and another 50 for May.

How to activate the 100 GB

If you have not received any messages and you are a client of Movistar Fusion, you will have to follow these steps:

In the Mobile Line detail, click on the alert "100 GB free for two months."

In the "Manage Data" option, the 100 GB promotion will appear, click on "More information."

Movistar awards 5 Gigas can use during the next 12 months

. Movistar has today announced a new promotion that allows you to enjoy five additional GB of data in mobile tariffs for all your customers with a mobile duty of contract. These other 5 GB can be used over the next 12 months, and activation is straightforward.
