Media is a very powerful mode of communication. It shares news, information, educational programme and entertainment with us. Media sometimes accused of spreading false news, yet on the other hand it informs joyful and thrilling realities of life. There are two major means of communication. One is electronic media and the other is print media. It is because of media that the world has become a global village. It gives us coverage of important events. Media has become a mouthpiece of oppressed, helpless and downtrodden. Nowadays people can express their views and opinions through debates and talk shows. That makes every one accountable. Media increases our social and political awareness about every one. Media can play a positive role if it works honestly.
The most important function of media is to give us news and information. The other important thing is that it has become a mouth piece of downtrodden. Media can entertain us through its dramas, films, musical programmes, comedy programmes, talk shows and different stage shows. The programme that I watch and it has become one of my favourite is Hasb-e-Hall. Because Sohail Ahmad the legendary actor acting as Azizi who is actually focuses on Pakistani people that how they live, think and react. I also like that character of FIQA who depicts the real picture of poor people who are living below poverty line. Junaid Saleem leads the programme very well. Najia tells about the different news from all over the world. Above all that she has such a beautiful laughter.
Because of computer the world is only a click away. Media plays a constructive role. Media has raised awareness in the society. Government should keep an eye on media to play a positive role. Media helped people to share knowledge of the world they inhabited in. Their feelings and opinions were expressed through it. Media attention of a very large audience. Had you noticed that first thing what we did soon after entering the house was to switch on the television.
Yes, well said, it would not be wrong to say that keeps an eye on every segment of the society. Through debates, reports and talk shows it makes everyone answerable and accountable. That is why media has become an integral part of our lives.
