Manchester City were banned for two seasons at European club football.  That means, the English club will not be able to play the next two seasons in the Champions League.  The current Premier League champions have to be punished for violating the rules of the UEFA club license and the Financial Fair Play.  However, Man City will have the opportunity to appeal the sentence. Manchester City have been banned for the next two seasons for violating the rules of the Financial Fair Play with club licenses and for not helping UEFA with the required information.  That means the current EPL champions are not playing in the Champions League for two seasons. 2012 to 2016,  Manchester City have bought players at higher prices during this time.  UEFA has made such allegations.  The list includes footballers like Leroy Sane, Otamendi, De Bruyne and Sterling.  They bought 20 players during that time. This has been the most detrimental to them.  Because 5 of those 20 people aren't in Man City anymore. Meanwhile, the regulatory body of football has seen inconsistencies in the revenue the citizens have earned from sponsorship revenue.  They have also apologized to Man City for this.  The company, however, expressed anger that the city did not receive adequate support for its investigation. Meanwhile, Man City is being fined almost 500 million euros for not just banning.  Despite expressing frustration over the punishment, the Man City authorities had already scrutinized the punishment.  The club also has the opportunity to appeal the punishment.  Earlier, Man City was fined £ 10 million for breaking the rules.
