Liverpool prove title-winning class as Jurgen Klopp's men brush Manchester City

City were stunned by two goals in first twelve minutes;stunned by Liverpool's irrepressible counter attacking.

Liverpool's first goal came with Sadio Mane breaking down the left. His cross was cut out by Iker Gundogan who cleared it as far as Fabinho who then struck a beauty past Bravo into the net. The crowd lost it and Anfield erupted.City was under high pressure.

Liverpool didn't stop here and its second goal came in the 12th minute with Mohammad Salah guiding a header back across Bravo thanks to a Andy Robertson cross. This doubled Liverpool's lead over City.After that both sides attacked on the the goals but no one scored.City played agressively with Aguero, Sterling and Bernardo Silva having a shy at the goal but were not able to score.

At half time Liverpool were 2-0 up and clearly dominated city. After half time city came out strongly with De Bruyne playing aggressively and creating goal opportunities but his crosses were wasted by the attackers. 

Then in the 51th minute Mane scored third Liverpool goal with a header from Henderson cross,with City's keeper not judging the cross well and handing over an easy goal to Mane and Liverpool.

City was fully destroyed by Liverpool.After that in the 76th minute city scored a goal with Bernardo Silva scoring from Angelino's cross. Silva opened City's account.City gained some confidence and attacked frequently but it was too late. Both Sterling and Jesus had chances but they were denied by Alison and could score.

The match ended with Jurgen Klopp side winning 3-1 over the champions. Some decisions from the referee are still controversial but nothing matters now.Liverpool are at the top the table with nine points clear to City and eight points clear to Leicester city who are at no.2 spot.On the other hand City has to fight hard to defend their title.
