Lata Mangeshkar is hospitalized in Swara Kokila. It is being told that she is on a ventilator at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Lata's condition is located but remains critical. She was rushed to the hospital after having difficulty breathing at 2 am on Sunday night. She has been under treatment ever since. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was shifted to the ventilator.
According to media reports, Lata Mangeshkar is suffering from a severe lung infection. Dr. Pratit Samadani, Internal Medicine Physician, told TOI in an interview, she has pneumonia. At the same time, Lata's left ventricular has also failed. Her conditions still remain serious.
The left ventricular gives the most oxygen to the heart. It is very important for the body to function in a normal and healthy way. Due to privacy doctor was not giving much information about Lata Mangeshkar's health. Yesterday on Monday a media report quoting her niece claimed that Lata's help was now fine. She has been discharged from the hospital and taken home. But shortly after, news came from Lata's sister that Lata was on a ventilator in the hospital. At the same time, fans on social media are praying for Lata Mangeshkar to get well soon.
On 28th September itself, Lata celebrated her 90th birthday. Many veterans and millions of fans, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sachin Tendulkar congratulated her on the occasion of her birthday. Lata Mangeshkar who gave her voice to more than 1000 songs, was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 2001.
