ROLE OF HYDROXYCHLOROQUIN IN CORONA TREATMENT

In reality, hydroxychloroquine and other drugs from the derivatives like quinine are under investigation in clinical trials for pre-exposure prophylaxis of SARS-cov-2 infection and treatment of patients infected with Novel coronavirus infection.

According to Dr. Ss Shrivastava, former dean of Darbhanga Medical College & Hospital and head of the Department of Pharmacology explained that approximately all anti-viral medicines and medicines of quinine group are quite effective in the prevention of viral DNA replication leading to a reduction in growth and multiplication of Viral load in the body so that Imtionmunity of the individual easily get rid of this viral infection.

But taking the drug without a prescription from an authorized Corona clinic as a preventive measure may cost you a life-threatening condition. So, it must be avoided until and unless prescribed by an authorized doctor and keeping in mind the principle of the risk-benefit ratio.

WHY WESTERN COUNTRIES INCLUDING US & GULF NATIONS LIKE SAUDI ARABIA ARE IN SEARCH FOR IMPORT OF THE MEDICINE FROM INDIA;

As we all know, India temporarily lifts ban over several drugs, including hydroxychloroquine for exports to the US and other Western and Gulf nations and in southeast Asia.

India is the largest producer of drugs that, too, with severe side effects because the top-notch pharmaceutical companies like Sun Pharma, Abbot, and Cipla are Indian origin, and we greatly manufacture these drugs in a large amount.

Us, along with other nations, are not too interested in making these drugs as in their country's hygiene makes is quite unfamiliar for the mosquitoes to spread the protozoal infection like Malaria.

India has an abundance of these medicines both for pan nationwide transportation and international exports. It's not a matter of priority whether Indian authorities lift ban over Trump's statement or not; we just don't find any obstacle in exporting more and more hydroxychloroquine to the needy nations until we have adequate stocks for our own requirement.
