More than 20,000 pieces of garbage, which are larger than 10 cm in size, are believed to have spread across space and are orbiting around the Earth at a rapid pace. If a piece of waste collides with a working satellite or facility operating in space, it can not only cause a malfunction, it can also become an accident.
