How to shop on Amazon?

The first thing you'll want to do is make an Amazon account, start by going to amazon.com in your web browser in the top right corner, move your cursor over your account and click start here. I'll tell you how to search for and buy a specific item on Amazon, click in the search bar and type in the name of an item. You're looking to purchase. For example, let's say you want to buy some new headphones, Amazon will present you with a variety of options.

 

You can narrow down your search by choosing from the options on the left after narrowing your search, once you can then narrow your search further by choosing a certain brand feature color or price range.

 

When you see a product you like click on its name after choosing a product. You can see more detailed information about it. If you're interested in purchasing the item, you can select the quantity of how many you would like to purchase, on the right, then click the yellow button that says add to cart to add the items to your virtual shopping cart. You can continue shopping and add more items to your cart or if those are the only items you'd like to buy you can proceed to check out, enter your shipping address.

 

So Amazon knows where to send your order, Amazon offers a variety of delivery options, choose which delivery option works best for you.

 

Generally the quicker shipping options will be a little, a bit more expensive if you subscribe to Amazon Prime, you can get free two-day shipping next you'll be asked for your payment information.

 

So Amazon knows how you'll be paying for your order, Amazon accepts a variety of payment methods.

 

You can pay with your credit or debit card,  an Amazon gift card, or even pay directly from your bank account.

 

When you're done entering all your information, review your order to ensure the details are correct.

 

If everything looks good, click place your order Amazon will send email you, with the receipt and your order details, if you're in the mood to shop but don't have a particular item in mind.

 

You can browse the different departments on amazon.com kind of like if you were  shopping at a mall on the main page move your cursor over departments to see a list of options Amazon has a variety of different departments, like books inaudible clothing shoes and jewelry and electronics and computers.

 

These departments, also have sub departments, for example in electronics and computers.

 

There are the sub departments TV and video computers and tablets headphones and much more, click on a department you're interested in to see a list of the items available.

 

If you find a product you like on Amazon, but you're not ready to purchase it yet.

 You can add it to your wishlist to keep track of it to add an item to your wishlist, follow the same steps for finding a product as you would for purchasing one search for items.

 You're interested in and pick out one you like instead of clicking Add to Cart click Add to list select wishlist, you'd like to add it to then click Add to list when you're done shopping and browsing items on Amazon.
