Scientific appellations
Common names are rarely employed in scientific writing or science in general. Alternatively, the Latin binomial (meaning "scientific name") is employed. When it comes to using scientific names, there are a number of crucial guidelines. Make it a habit to abide by these guidelines while writing because failing to do so instantly identifies you as an amateur scientist.
1. Italics is always used for scientific names. You can choose to underline them instead while writing text by hand, but if you're using a word processor, there's no good reason not to italicize. Use Bos taurus, not Bos taurus, as an example.

The Scientific Method: What Is It?
The practice of conducting experiments to investigate observations and provide answers is known as the scientific method.
Do scientists adhere to the exact scientific method? No. It is easier to test certain scientific theories than others. For instance, it is not possible to accelerate a star's life by a million years or do medical tests on feeding dinosaurs in order to test scientific theories about how stars age or how dinosaurs ate. Scientists alter the scientific method when doing direct experiments is not feasible. However, even with modifications, the objective (as well as many of the stages) stay the same: to identify cause and effect linkages through questioning, carefully assembling and analyzing the evidence, and determining whether all the information that is availableBefore class, go over the prescribed readings.
