How to make Misal without using ready made Misal masala ?

In one of the nice plates, the gravy is mixed with a pinch of mustard oil, which we call cut, finely chopped onion, topped with a lot of farsan and squeezed lemon from above to bring out a little sour taste.  Two loaves are placed on the side. Even the mere thought of such a mixture made my mouth water immediately.  This is a Maharashtrian dish that has no break.  It is one of the most important cities in Maharashtra.  Whether it is Kolhapuri misal or Puneri misal or Nagpuri misal.  The method of doing it has changed a bit, but the identity is the same.  Some people find the mixture spicy, while others do not like it.  Some people prefer to eat with pav and some with bread the choice is yours.

Readymade misal masala is now used in making this misal.  You will find almost all the masala company's mixed spice packets in the market.  But you can also make a good mix at home without this readymade masala.  And the taste also resembles a misal eaten in a hotel outside or made using misal masala.  So let's see how to make a mix at home.

Ingredients which we require to make homemade Misal

So first let's look at the ingredients you need to make the mix
1. Half a cup of white peas
2. Salt (as per taste)
3. A ladle of oil
4. One tablespoon cumin seeds
5. Half a cup of grated coconut
6. 8 to 10 garlic cloves
7. Red Chili Powder
8. 4 glasses of water
9. Chopped onion
10. Lemon to squeeze on the mixture

Now that the material is done, let's see how to make Misal

Soak half a cup of white peas overnight.  By morning they will be well soaked and soft.  Then add salt to taste and cook. When cooked, grate the peas a little.

Then take a hat.  Put a pinch of oil in the cap and let the oil heat up.

Until then, grind a teaspoon of cumin seeds, half a cup of coconut, a little garlic in a mixer.  Once it is fine then put it in the cap.  Then mix it with a fork.  Add red chili powder and garam masala according to how much chili powder you want.  Add 4 glasses of water.  Let it boil for a while.  Since you have already cooked the beans in salt, taste once again and decide whether to add salt or not.  Put some cilantro on it.  Once the mixture is ready, take it out on a nice plate, add chopped onion, mixed farsan (yes, mixed farsan is different), squeeze lemon on top, and enjoy it with water.

Once you make it this Misal at home, you will never go outside to eat Misal

Once you have made a misal and eaten it at home, you will not feel like eating misal when you go out.  So if guests are coming to your house and you are wondering what to make them for breakfast, then there is no problem in making this mixture.  The guests will also be happy to eat this delicious mix and you will also be happy to see the joy on their faces

Once you have made this misal at home, then every time you will make this Misal at home.
