Hello friends! Through this post, I am very happy to share about my weight loss and natural ways to lose weight. About three months back, I was faced with not being able to do any work easily. Due to this weight gain I was suffering from anxiety, leg and body pain and stress.
My co-workers and friends made fun of my body shape, so I made a mental commitment to change this state. So, I started losing weight by gathering information through videos on the Internet.
Four regular exercise regimens,
Exercise is very important in trying to lose weight. Every morning and evening, I set aside an hour in the park near my hostel for skipping, cycling, running and walking. I stick to long distance cycling and running only on holidays.
Cycling - I not only cycled 20 km daily, but also cycled to the hospital every day.
Long Distance Cycling - During these three months I made a routine of cycling long distances in the early morning to the following four places. All places are Tamil Nadu.
ECR Beach (40 km)
Port Beach (30 km)
Elliot Beach (25 km)
Marina Beach (15 km)
3. Run – 3 km (morning and evening)
4. Walking
The diet I followed,
I was adamant that if we wanted to lose weight, we had to change our diet. I stopped eating a lot of non-veg food and started eating a lot of vegetables. I stopped eating fast food in restaurants and started cooking. Dinner is easy to digest, and stick to eating two hours before going to bed.
Since I eat less in the morning and afternoon, I feel hungry in the evening. At that time, I avoid junk food and take adequate amounts of fruits, almonds, raisins, dates and cashews.
If there is garlic in the food we eat, some people will not eat it. But, I included a lot of garlic in my diet.
Water
Drinking water is very important as the world cannot survive without water. I followed the practice of drinking half a liter of water before meals and half an hour after meals. Also, I drank enough water during the ten-minute break after exercise.
I stopped drinking tea daily and instead drank hot water with cumin and lemon juice in the morning and evening.
I eventually learned that adequate sleep is essential for losing weight, and followed it. I avoided naps.
I checked my weight thrice every month and adjusted my exercise and diet accordingly. Finally, I managed to lose 20 kg (from 85 kg to 65 kg) in the third trimester.
