How to become more active It's never too late to start being active, and anyone can do it. Regardless of your age, anything that gets you moving is good for you. Decide why you want to start exercising more. Why do you want to be more active? Ask yourself. Perhaps you would like to: feel happy or have more vitality enhance muscular tone, strength, or flexibility reduce weight and improve sleep

Select a hobby or pastime you enjoy. Select enjoyable hobbies for yourself. Engaging in activities that you enjoy makes it easier to maintain motivation. Try a new activity if you grow tired with the current one. Getting motivated could be difficult, particularly if it's chilly and pouring outdoors.
