How To Gracefully Accept Changes?

There are certain aspects of our lives, which may feel are not up to par and you may want to change them. For example, consider a situation in which you suffer from dwarfism and people make fun of your height. You may want to be taller so as not to be ridiculed anymore. No matter what the odds you should be able to find a support system somewhere, be it in your friends, or family or within yourself. There are several methods that may be useful for dealing with these types of situations. 

Meditations: Meditation can help focus your mind and keep your mind free of negative thoughts. It helps improve your concentration and broadens your mind. It can also help to see situations in a different way and in a different light, therefore it helps you overcome difficult episodes in life.

See things from a different point of view: We usually see things from a single point of view and uniquely perceive them. It is recommended to see the same through multiple points of view to gain a broader understanding of the whole situation. This helps to make a more logical and balanced decision.

Focus on the Positive: Let's understand with the help of a simple anecdote. One day a teacher gave a student a piece of white paper with a black dot in the center and asked him what he thought of the paper. The student said there was a black dot on the paper, usually, most people tend to focus on the black spot and not to on the white space, that surrounds it. Similarly, in life, you should see the positive aspects instead of focusing only on the negative aspects. This will help you navigate through a series of difficult stages.

Develop resilience: Being resilience is very good quality, as it can help you overcome many setbacks in life. problems are part of life since they can be the result of external circumstances over which you will not have control. Therefore, it is always advisable to accept the situation and move on in life.
