Objective

You must have a clear objective, that why you are starting this store. You must have a motivational objective, as within 2 years my store will be in the Top 10 stores of this area.

 

Pray For Your Success

We must always Pray for our success.

Here your objective is nearly impossible to achieve, but your deep prayers will make this dream come true.

 

Availability

Try your level best to focus on demanding product availability. If you do have at least 90% availability of the products on demand, then you are on your way. 

 

Be Sincere With Your Customer

Sincerity is one of the critical factors in a shop or daily life interaction; if we cheat someone, then sooner or later he gets informed, and we lose our friend, relative, or customer.

 

Spend Proper Time

Starting phase of the shop is something where customers are building confidence in the shop.

If you open the shop for a few hours, then close, then again open, and do not show any proper timings, people will take a negative image.

 

Be Active

Sometimes you'll not have any customers, especially in starting most of the time people do not come. So remember that don't just sit and wait but be active.

Clean your shop, arrange and rearrange items, make a list of the products you need to purchase tomorrow. 



Attract Your Customer

There is always a competition, what you are selling may be other shopkeepers also sell the same product. So to attract customers, you can sell few products at low prices. So when you get more customers and visit your shop, they'll see other products too and mostly they'll purchase other items.

 

Some Priority Items

You must have some priority items that have more profit margin than others. You open shop to get money, to progress further, these items could be Rice and Suger or any other according to your own observation.

Your prior focus will be on priority items.  So it will compensate for the somewhat loss of certain items, and you'll be on your way to success.

 

The Second Man

 last but not least, you must have a second man trained him as he must know all the pros and cons of the business. He must know about the wholesale market and all other important things.

It's better that you tell him to run the shop for a few hours daily totally, so he can better learn...

The logic behind this second man is the shop should not be close for a complete day as you may face any emergency and may not be able to open the shop, at that time the second man will solve your problem, and you will not lose your customer.

After doing these things, soon you"ll get your own practical experience too. So keep working and don't be afraid of hurdles which you face.

The basic thing is that if you have a clear objective and work with sincerity, you'll soon hit your goal.

Some people start businesses, and they do not have any proper guidelines, so when they face problems, they close that business.
