If ADB is installed and your smartphone is in correct mode, then you have to look for an identifier for your smartphone and give information about 'sideload'.

Flash the OTA "Over-The-Air" via shell or command prompt. Using 'adb sideload your_file_name_here.zip' without any quotes where the filename is the name of the previously downloaded OTA Image by the user.

The user will have to preview with adb ". /" commands to function correctly on certain platforms. Reboot upon completion.
