How to control Acne Skin Care?

The condition of skin of people between the ages of 12 and 24 commonly affects a disease called acne. The cause of acne is difficult to determine. However, excessive secretion of sebaceous glands is considered to be the cause of triggering most acne outbreaks.

Glandular secede units combine hair follicles and sebaceous glands in the skin. In addition to the surface of the palms and soles of the feet, glandular secede units are found on skin tissue throughout the body. They are responsible for secreting an oily substance called sebum. Still, due to many factors (for example, hormonal imbalance, stress, and the natural state of the skin), the sebaceous glands can produce more oil than usual. When this happens, the excess oil clogs the skin pores. This process triggers a bacterial infection and stimulates the immune system's response. Eventually, acne inflammation occurs.

Acne can affect any skin type. Oily skin type is most prone to acne. On the other hand, dry skin may not be as sensitive, but severe outbreaks can occur in the winter. Normal skin is just as prone to acne, but the degree of severity may not be as high.

Currently, acne is not yet completely curable, but it can be corrected with some acne skin care methods. Many seek the help of topical medications that are applied to the surface of the skin. However, using acne skin care products such as "pore strip pads" can remove whiteheads and blackheads, but it will not affect the excess sebum produced.

However, for correction and prevention, it is best to use the following 8 simple tips:

1. A healthy and balanced diet should be followed. Therefore, your food intake must contain all the essential nutrients that the body needs to function effectively.

2. Drink plenty of fluids such as water, and juices. Minimize your intake of carbonated drinks.

3. No makeup is recommended.

4. Wash your face with mild soap and water. The logic is not to remove impurities (as most acne sufferers perceive), but to remove the clogs in the skin pores, which can be a combination of dead skin cells, bacteria, and hardened sebum. Although dirt is not the actual cause of acne, it can contribute to further infection by interacting with skin debris and particles and excess oil in the skin.

5. To remove excess oil, use topical cleansing pads that may contain one or a combination of the following: salicylic acid, sulfur, and benzoyl peroxide. Another way to minimize the presence of excess oil in the skin is to wash your face with the hottest water you can stand.

6. Minimize harsh cleansers and use acne skin care products that gently exfoliate. Do not scrub the affected areas vigorously.

7. If your hands are dirty, don't touch your face.

8. If you have long hair, tie it back away from your face. This is especially true if the weather is hot, and you have been sweating.

Preventative steps in acne skin care are just as important as acne treatment itself. With prevention, at least you know how to make sure your acne problem doesn't escalate and spread to a larger infected area.
