How Kris Srikkanth steamrolls England's Bazballers with 'catch next flight home' dig after 3rd Test

Following India's crushing of Ben Stokes and co. in the third Test match in Rajkot, Krishnamachari Srikkanth expressed his candid opinions over England's Bazball approach.

No issues if KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are absent. As Rohit Sharma outperformed England in the third Test at Rajkot on Sunday, India's young prospects Sarfaraz Khan and Yashasvi Jaiswal filled the vacuum left by the absence of batting mainstays in the Indian squad.

With an outstanding all-around performance from Ravindra Jadeja and a superb double century from Jaiswal, Team India won the five-match series against England handily. During the Test series, former Indian opener Krishnamachari Srikkanth made fun of England's Bazballers by joking that the visitors may take the next flight home.

In their most recent match, which took place in Rajkot, England put India's bench strength to the test. For the third Test, wicketkeeper-battler Rahul was unable to regain full fitness, meaning that Kohli would miss the entire series. Earlier, India had excluded the underperforming Shreyas Iyer from their Test team. India's captain Rohit finished his low-scoring slump with a magnificent century at Rajkot, spearheading the team's batting attack in the first innings.

Jadeja's vital 112-run innings came after Rohit's 131-run as India easily won their opening essay at 445. In his first-ever appearance, middle-order batsman Sarfaraz showed the selectors that he was worthy by hitting a useful 62 off 66 balls. In the first innings, Mohammed Siraj (4 fo 84) and Kuldeep Yadav (2 for 77) bowled England out for 319, while Ravichandran Ashwin claimed his record 500th Test wicket.

Opening batsman Jaiswal put India ahead early on with a masterful double hundred, then Sarfaraz (68*) and Shubman Gill (91) added vital runs to take India to 430-4 in the second innings. England's Bazball-friendly team could only muster 122 runs in the face of an unlikely goal of 557, losing the Test by 434 runs. Following India's crushing of England, former cricketer Srikkanth took to YouTube to call out Bazball's failings.
