Cricket world cup 2023 will be played in India. India comes in big 3 according to ICC. This is the fourth time that world cup is being played in india. This is the first time that world cup is solely played in india, before that last 3 world cups were playerd in subcontinent including Pakistan, Srilanka and Bangladesh. World cup will be played in 10 different grounds of India. Venues are pune, Ahmadabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata etc.
Semi finals will be played at Eden Gardens Kolkata and Wankhede stadium Mumbai. Final will be played at Narendar Modi cricket stadium Ahmadabad. Narendra Modi cricket stadium is now the biggest stadium of the world having capacity of 132,000 peoples. World cup is scheduled between 5 october to 19 November. World cup will be played in round ribbon format and knock out. 10 teams will participate in world cup. Every team will play agaist every other team. There will be total 48 matches. Top 4 teams will qualify for semi finals. Number 1 position team will play against number 4 team and number 2 team will play against number 3 team.
Cricket world cup 2023 will be broadcasted on different channels. Official sport network who have the right to broadcaste is Star sports netword. In pakistan it will be shown on Ten sports and PTV sports. In Australia it will be broadcasted on Fox sports and Nine.In india it will be shown on different channels including DD sports and Star sports. Tickets can be bought via online or by hand. Anyone can purchase ticket irrespective of gender,color and creed.
