If you want to grind chutney, you need a mixer. To make juice, a juicer; if you want to crush spices, a grinder, or if you want to wash clothes, you use a washing machine. It is said that clapping helps in regularizing the heart rate and opening the clogged veins. Dhamaal of Haryana state is also a similar dance, in which men and women dance by jumping. Women move around to the tune of the harp and beat the men. This is a good exercise for the waist. Along with balancing the heart rate, the liver and spine are also exercised. Due to the speed, the lungs get full oxygen. Even heavy food can be easily digested. Bihu is the most beautiful dance of Eastern India. In Bhavai dance, women dance with lamps lit on their heads or while standing. This develops mental and physical balance. Dogri dance is another form of rock of Jammu and Kashmir. There are many dance styles like Putti Kali of Kerala and Karagam Shambalpur of Tamil Nadu.

 There is no need of a guru to learn folk dance, it is simpler than other dance arts. These can be learned traditionally without any guru.
