Essential windows 10 DOS commands

1. Ping - If you want to find out if your computer that is connected to the network is connected to another network connected computer or device, then you can use ping command. Apart from this, the ping command also tells you how long you are going to be repatriated from another computer. If there is an error or problem, then the ping command also displays the message.

2. Pathping- Pathping is a tool through which the loss of network packets between your computer and server can be checked. This is a great tool because all the network connection issues which are not known in any tools and commands can be found in it.
3. tracert- is a computer network diagnostic tool that tells the route of any packet in IP network and how much transit delay on that route.

4. ipconfig - IPConfig command is used to find the IP address of your computer. IPCONFIG, can be used for your computer's IP address, subnet mask, Gateway, DNS, MAC address and many other types of information.
IPconfig / FlushDNS - If the IP address of DNS server has changed in your network and it is not changing in your PC, then you can flush your computer's DNS cache.


5. nslookup- This command is used to know the name and IP address of any computer in the network. When we provide the name or IP address of a computer with the nslookup command, DNS queries the domain nameserver, indicating their name or app address.

6. sfc / scannow- There is a tool in Windows systems called system file checker which scans the computer's system files and looks for problems. If any system file is found missing and corrupted on scanning, then this tool also repairs those files.
