Ecosystem :
The world around us is made up of living and non living factors . living are called biotics while non living are called as abiotic factors. Living organisms and their habitat are related each other.
The structure which is form due to these reciprocal relationship is called an ecosystem.
Structure of an ecosystem :
Living organisms need different type of abiotic factors have different capacity to adapt with those abiotic factors. Some microbes need oxygen while other don't. Some plants need more sunlight while other grew well in shed.
Each and every abiotic factors affects the biotic factors in the ecosystem . The abiotic factors in an ecosystem decides which biotic factors will survive in it and what will be their number . The proportion of abiotic factors in an ecosystem is always changing as the biotic factors use or execrate abiotic factor's. Every biotic factors affect the abiotic factors around it . Every living organism's in an ecosystem plays a particular role while living , moving in that ecosystem.
The position of any living organism in context to other living organism and the role it play is called Niche.A sunflower plant in a garden involved oxygen in the air and provides food and shelter for insect like ants , honey bee , etc. Are some example's.
Pollution :
Contamination of natural environment that will be harmful to ecosystem is called as pollution.
- Air pollution : Contamination of air by harmful substance like poisonous gas , smoke , particulate matter , microbes , etc. is called as air pollution.
- Water pollution : water is said to be polluted if it becomes unclean and poisonous due to mixing of natural and artificial unwanted materials , when it becomes harmful to living organism's due to decreased oxygen contain when epidemics disease are spread through water.Fresh and Marin water pollution include physical, chemical and biological changes.
Relation Between ecosystem and pollution
Ecosystem and pollution are still interrelated since starting of world.
