We know that so many countries consume tea on a daily basis, ButTea is the most important part of every Indian's lifestyle, and it is very common that most people drink tea in the morning without having their breakfast, and for some Indians, it is more like breakfast. I Know tea is the most popular beverage in India. In fact, my day is like empty without tea, I literally feel like something is missing if I don't drink tea from morning to evening, only if I were busy, otherwise, everyone knows that how much I like tea. And I will drink tea with every guest that comes to our home, but this happens only at home because I like homemade tea than outside tea.

But there are some advantages and also disadvantages if we will consume it more, and I think every tea lover must know these facts, and that might fascinate the people who don't drink tea and after reading this article they will also start drinking tea. So first let us know the history of tea, I know everybody is thinking that we heard Geography and History but never heard the "Tea History"..... and that is why I'm here to tell you some awesome facts of tea.

History of Tea

The history of tea is very complex and long, and tea is originated in the Yunnan region during the Shang Dynasty which is located in China as a medical drink. Tea was first introduced to Portuguese priests and merchants in Lebanon during the 16th century. And drinking tea became popular in the British during the 17th century. And then the British introduced tea production and tea consumption to India, in order to compete with the Chinese monopoly on tea.

Most people think that tea is originated from China so tea consumption will be more in China and tea is the National drink of India, so we can think that the second tea consumption country will be India, but this is not the case tea lovers. There are so many countries that consume tea, but here are some countries that consume tea more.

I know everyone is shocked to see this ranking, but this is the truth. And China ranked on 19th number, India is on 27th number according to this ranking.

 Tea types:

In modern times people used to drink some popular and traditional flavors. But there is a wide range of herbal drinks made from flowers, grains, leaves, and even mushrooms. There are so many flavors of tea like Black tea, White tea, Green tea, Chaga tea, Chamomile tea, Essiac tea, Chrydanthymum tea, Oolong tea, Green tea, Hibiscus tea, and Pu-erh tea and many more.

And there are the 5 most popular types of tea that consume worldwide and healthy too.

As I said that for most Indians it is most like breakfast and they will consume it with an empty stomach. Tea is really a good beverage for an enthusiastic day, but drinking tea with an empty stomach is not at all good because of some reasons, it may disrupt your metabolic Acidity, and may dehydrate your body, and you may feel nausea sometime or other sensations due to the caffeine. It doesn't mean that you can't drink tea but have it in a good way like after breakfast you can drink tea up to the evening, but not in the morning.

I know everyone is thinking that then how many times one should drink tea and actually good to have it on a daily basis. right? So here I have an answer to that, different studies have various thoughts on this. While some say two to four cup tea in a day is normal. As we all know that consumption of anything more than its limit is harmful, yeah! There are many benefits of tea but if we will consume it more like 5 to 10 times then it must be harmful to our body without any doubt. right! so try to drink tea 2 to 3 a day or less it is totally up to you but not more than that. Excessive consumption of tea may keep you active and you won't get sleep easily and it may produce body heat, keep this in your mind and have it in a healthy way tea lovers.
