Storyline

When mysterious deaths begin to happen in a mountain town, the locals begin to fear that the Vanaratchi, a demonic forest spirit, is killing people. Inspector Rishi, who is skeptical, is given the challenging task of uncovering secrets and discovering the truth about these incomprehensible paranormal happenings alongside his sub inspectors Ayyanar and Chitra. Plot

investigator Rishi, the main character, and a second investigator go to a secluded mountain community to investigate a series of mysterious deaths involving individuals who seem to be dying in a supernatural manner.

Inspector Rishi is curious as to their cause of death. However, he soon discovers that he must overcome unspoken barriers in the society in order to discover the truth about the bizarre and mysterious happenings.
