Does A.I. have emotions? what do you think?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a simulation of human intelligence that is programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term can be applied to any machine that shows traits related to a human mind such as learning and problem-solving.

There are so many things we are looking for before we get into a relationship.

• Emotional Maturity- manage emotion in any situation
• Independent- there are two people in a relationship, not a one-person
• Openness- genuine feedbacks
• Funny-Sense of humor
• Empathetic-listen to them and understand
• Honesty- don’t lie
• Respectful and Sensitive- Respectful and sensitive of who you are as an individual, separate from your partner
• Physically Affectionate - expressing love verbally and physically.

So, you can see there are few things that a robot can do. Honesty and openness. Other factors listed here still cannot be done by a robot. For every other case even, we need to learn from our experience. Every human is not the same as. They are different from each other in every way. For example, take you and one of your friends. Do you guys same exactly 100%. It isn’t right? Humans born with different abilities, skills, and qualities, etc. While they growing up they learn and adjust those from what they see, hear and feel. There is no perfect scale to measure the quality of a human.

For example, Sincere, Honest, Understanding, Loyal, Truthful, Trustworthy, Intelligent, Dependable, Open-Minded, Thoughtful, Wise, Considerate, Good-Natured, Reliable, Mature, Warm, Earnest, Kind, Friendly, Kind-Hearted, Happy, Clean, Interesting, Unselfish, Good-Humored, Honorable, Humorous, Responsible, Cheerful, Trustful, Warm-Hearted, Broad-Minded, Gentle, Well-Spoken, Educated, Reasonable, Companionable, Likable, Trusting, Clever, Pleasant, Courteous, Quick-Witted, Tactful, Helpful, Appreciative, Imaginative, Outstanding, Self-Disciplined, Brilliant, Enthusiastic, Level-Headed, Polite, Original, Smart, Forgiving, Sharp-Witted, Well-Read, Ambitious, Bright, Respectful, Efficient, Good-Tempered, Grateful, Conscientious, Resourceful, Alert, Good, Witty, Clear-Headed, Kindly, Admirable, Patient are some of the human qualities.

Yeah, that is a huge list of qualities. Even though don’t notice, you do have all of the above them in different amounts from each other. The most amazing thing is, all of them change constantly, depending on the situation that you are in now. Remember, your brain does it while handling/managing your body. There are more than one thousand trillion operations that happen in your brain in a second.

This is Fugaku (supercomputer). And it has only 442 PFLOPS of speed. But our brain 1 exaflops of speed. The brain is a more complex thing still under research.

In order to be like us, we need more and more details about our brain and of course more advanced technology.

But is it possible to be like us even a little bit? How?

So, they can’t have their own emotions! They can only copy an emotion.

There are few levels of AI

• Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI)
• Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
• Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI)

To be even a little bit like a human it should have an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which exhibits generalized cognitive abilities of humans. Ex Machina, Chappie, and Bicentennial Man are few best examples of that.

Finally, as I said earlier, still they can’t show their own emotion only mimic it by using given data. They can't understand as same as a human and make a response every time, but they can do something. in order for them to think and make their own emotions, they need an extreme amount of processing capacity which still we don't have. even though that we have some technology with us the physical space it takes is higher and even the cost. and also, we have figgered it out even our brain 100% and how it works, so, how can we make something like that. Maybe in far in the future, it will be possible.
