Do you know about the Black Taj Mahal?

What is the Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.  This Taj Mahal does not need a separate identity. They were carved in marble stone.  The whole world is fascinated by this beautifully painted white Taj Mahal.  After the death of Shahjahan's wife, Mumtaz, Shahjahan built the Taj Mahal as her tomb to express his love for her.  In short, the Taj Mahal is the most beautiful mausoleum in the world.  People visit India from all over the world to see this mausoleum. Take a ticket and stand in a queue to see Mumtaz's mausoleum built by Shahjahan.

Concept of Black Taj Mahal

But most of the people have no idea that Shah Jahan wanted to build his own but magnificent tomb. And it is very close to the Taj Mahal, Mumtaz's tomb.  I mean, he insisted that we stay with Mumtaz even after his death.  He also planned to build a black Taj Mahal on the other side of the river Yamuna, just behind the Taj Mahal.  This required black marble stones.  And the black Taj Mahal was going to cost as much as the white Taj Mahal.  Where he wanted to build the Black Taj Mahal.  The foundation of the Black Taj Mahal was laid at that place.

Why Shahjahan's dream did not come true

But Shah Jahan's son Aurangzeb is not so much interested in building this tomb.  So when Aurangzeb revolted and overthrew the government and became the emperor himself, he stopped the work of this black Taj Mahal completely and imprisoned Shah Jahan in the Red Fort.  Shah Jahan was placed in the Red Fort in a place where he could see Mumtaz's tomb, the Taj Mahal.  It was there that Shah Jahan died on January 22, 1966, looking at the Taj Mahal and remembering Mumtaz.  Aurangzeb had no interest in building such a large tomb, and due to the ongoing war, the royal treasury did not have enough money to complete the black Taj Mahal.

However, he did not consider it appropriate to ignore his father's wishes.  As a result, Shah Jahan's dream of building a black Taj Mahal did not come true, but Aurangzeb makes the tomb of Shajahan near Mumtaz's tomb and fulfilled the same dream of Shahjan to staying with Mumtaz even after his death.

If the Black Taj Mahal dream come true

But what if Shah Jahan's dream had come true and the Black Taj Mahal had been built.  The Black Taj Mahal, carved in marble, would have been as important as the Black Taj Mahal, and the Black Taj Mahal, like the Taj Mahal, would have been the center of attraction for tourists from all over the world.

Perhaps like the white marble Taj Mahal, it would have been one of the wonders of the world. If you ever visit this Taj Mahal in Agra, pay a visit to the site of the Black Taj Mahal on the other side of the Yamuna before visiting the Taj Mahal.  There you will see the remains of the foundation of the Black Taj Mahal.  From there, you can see the beautiful look of the Taj Mahal.
