As we know that Irrfan Khan is not with us today but he will always be remembered for his excellent acting. Irrfan Khan is liked for his performances from Bollywood to Hollywood. It was said that he was so lost in his character as if he was speaking to his eyes. That is why he was called such a superstar who speaks with his own eyes. In this article, we will talk about Irrfan Khan's life journey, how did he get such a huge success?

 

 

1. EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION: 

Irrfan Khan's full name was Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan. He was born on 7 January 1967 in Tonk, Rajasthan, into a Muslim family. His mother's name was Saeeda Begum Khan and father's name was Yaseen Ali Khan. If we talk about his education, he got his schooling and bachelor's degree from Jaipur.

 

 

2. IRRFAN KHAN LEARNED ACTING: 

Irrfan Khan was very interested in acting since childhood and this was the reason that he moved to Delhi in 1984 where he learned acting from the National School of Drama.

 

 

3. IRRFAN KHAN'S POPULAR TV SHOWS: 

After some time he moved to Mumbai to work in films. There he gave a lot of auditions but despite struggling a lot, he did not get work in films. He then started working in Tv serials. He worked in many serials like Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Chandrakanta and the Great Maratha. 

 

 

4. IRRFAN KHAN'S FIRST FILM: 

And after a very long time in 1988, he finally got a chance to act in Salaam Bombay. He had a small character in the film. He was very excited for this. But when the film was released, he came to know that his role was cut in editing. This disappointed him a lot but he did not give up.

 

 

5. SOME OTHER MOVIES OF IRRFAN KHAN: 

In 1990 he got a chance to work in movie Ek Doctor Ki Maut in which he had a small role which did not give him any special recognition. After this, many of his films were released which was not a hit. After some time, he married writer Sutapa Sikdar. They have two sons Babil and Ayan.

 

 

6. IRRFAN KHAN'S FIRST FILMFARE AWARD:

But the year 2001 proved to be very good for him. He got a chance to work in the film The Warrior. He was highly praised for the role played in the film. And then he acted in the film Maqbool in which he was highly praised for his performance. And then in the year 2003, the film Haasil was released, for which he got his first Filmfare Award.

 

 

7. SOME OTHER HITS OF IRRFAN KHAN: 

Shortly after this, his next film Rog was released in 2005, in which he played the lead role, after this film, his film career began to grow rapidly. And then he received the Filmfare award for the best supporting actor for the 2007 film Life in a Metro. He was also seen in the Hollywood film A Mighty Heart, and The Namesake. He also received the Guild Award for best Outstanding performance for the 2008 Slumdog Millionaire.

 

 

8. THE NATIONAL FILM AWARD:

And after that he appeared in many films like Acid Factory, 7 Khoon Maaf, Haider, Piku, New York, and Paan singh Tomer. He received the National Film award for best actor for Paan Singh Tomer.

 

 

9. THE PADMA SHRI AWARD: 

Not only this, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri Award in 2011 and he was also seen in films like Hindi Medium, and Qarib Qarib Singlle. He received the Filmfare Award for best supporting actor for the film Hindi Medium. Angrezi medium was Irrfan Khan's last film.

 

 

10. ILLNESS AND DEATH : 

And then in the year 2018 he came to know that he has a Neuroendocrine tumor. Due to which he was continuously ill and then he was admitted to Kokilaben hospital Mumbai where he died on 29 April 2020. Even though he is not with us today, he will always be remembered for his strong acting and brilliant voice and will always be alive in our hearts.
