Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is called Devauthani Ekadashi, which is on Friday, 08 November this year. Devauthani Ekadashi is also known as Hariprabodhini Ekadashi and Devotthan Ekadashi. According to mythological beliefs, on this day, the Lord Vishnu of the world renounces yoga and dedicate themselves to public welfare. Chaturmas ends on the day of Devuthani Ekadashi. Worship Lord Vishnu on Devothani day :
On the day of Devauthani Ekadashi, all the gods including Lord Vishnu come out of the Yoga Nidra. In this way, other gods including Lord Vishnu are worshiped on this day. There is also a law to get Tulsi marriage to Devauthani Ekadashi. On this day special result of charity etc. are also received.
