I am not here to talk about his greatness at club football level,everyone knows that rather I am summarizing his whole international career which is far better than anyone among active players.His international career is full of miracles,breaking records one after another and creating history.
Cristiano Ronaldo because of his talent and skills made it through to the Portuguese eleven at a very young age.And in no time he caught eyes of the crowd and proved himself worthy.He along with Luis Figo led the Portuguese team to the semi final of the 2006 FIFA world cup where they unfortunately lost to the Italy who became the world champions afterward.But this world cup proved very beneficial for Ronaldo as he emerged as a top class player who could absorb pressure and the one who could led his team from the front.
Due to his extraordinary performance he became Portugal's captain in 2007.After that there were many ups and downs in Portugal's football as well as Ronaldo's career as he could not lead his country to a title but he scored goals consistently even though his country wasn't having a good time.
Years passed and Ronaldo became famous due to his world class performances for Real Madrid and Man United and was considered as the best.But the only scar was that he couldn't lead his country to a title.Then came the 2016 Euro cup.Which filled his dreams and career when Portugal won the Euro cup after beating France in the final under Ronaldo's leadership.He scored thrice in the tournament but most importantly brought the trophy home.
Now today Ronaldo firstly due to his goals then for his trophies for the country and club and then for his individual records is considered as a living legend.Uptill now he has scored 99 goals for Portugal and his career is still moving on and there is no barrier.He would soon score his 100th goal.
I would end by saying that we are fortunate that a player like Ronaldo is in our era due to which we are enjoying football.And it won't be false to call Cristiano Ronaldo a living legend.
