Coronavirus outbreak: A World Wide Terror.

What is coronavirus and what should I do if I have almost the same type of symptoms?

What are the exact symptoms caused by the virus? How does it spread? When to contact a Doctor?

It is caused by a member of the coronavirus family that has never been encountered before. Like other coronaviruses, it has cme from animals. Probably from the animals in Wuhan in the wholesale market in the center of the Chinese city.

What are the symptoms that this virus causes?

This virus can cause pneumonia. Those who have fallen ill are reported to suffer coughs, fever and breathing difficulties. In severe  cases there can be organ failure. As this is viral pneumonia, antibiotics are of no use. The antiviral drugs we have against flu will not work at all. Recovery depends on the strength of the human immune system. Many of those who died were already in poor health, in hospitals or over aged.

China's national health commision has confirmed human-to-human transmission, and there have been such transmissions elsewhere.

How to protect yourself?

The best way is to wash your hands certainly. Wet your hands with clean, running water. Apply soap. Lather your hands, including the backs, between your fingers, under your nails. Scrub for at least 20 seconds. Rinse.
